Light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday and Wednesday morning took Delhiites by surprise; the sudden change in weather is expected to see a drop in temperature as well. As per the predictions by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the surrounding region including the capital, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan will also experience rainfall. As per the predictions by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the surrounding region including the capital, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan will also experience rainfall. The trend will continue until Thursday.
Delhi’s temperature read a minimum of 12 degrees and a maximum of 19 degrees Celsius. While the daytime reading for Tuesday’s temperature was four degrees above the normal of 11.6 degrees Celsius, the mercury plummeted with light showers in the evening.
It is expected that the minimum temperature would hover between 5 to 6 degrees Celsius over the weekend.
