Raazi movie locations will give you a tour of heaven on earth, Kashmir

Alia Bhatt is one versatile actor who moulds herself perfectly in any character and this time the lady is all set to impress the world with her power-pack performance as an Indian spy in the upcoming movie Raazi. Directed by the intelligent filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, the movie is produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta and is mostly shot amidst the gorgeous locales of Kashmir, the heaven on earth.
Raazi is mostly shot in the beautiful valley of Kashmir and captures the true essence of the destination. Apart from Kashmir, some of the major parts of the movie have been shot in Delhi’s Miranda House.

The movie is based on the book ‘Calling Sehmat: A Novel’ written by Harinder S. Sikka and, in the movie, Alia plays an Indian spy from Kashmir, who gets married to an army officer from Pakistan, played by Vicky Kaushal (of Masan fame). Set during the backdrop of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, the movie shows the life of a woman spy living in Pakistan and providing vital intelligence information to her country, India.

One of the best things about the movie is Kashmir, a destination which is every cinematographer’s delight. The beautiful locations of the movie will make give you some major travel goals!

This upcoming Indian period thriller movie will present Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal for the first time together on screen. The movie is all set to hit the cinema halls on May 11, 2018.
