Amid the growing number of Coronavirus cases in Punjab, the government has now imposed full curfew with no relaxation to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Also, as per the news reports, Deputy Commissioners of all districts have been asked to issue the order accordingly. The spokesperson added that anyone required to be given any kind of relaxation will be allowed specifically for a specific purpose and period.
Earlier, the Punjab government stated that it will not impose curfew during the lockdown period, however, restrictions under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code will be imposed, which will restrict gathering of more than 10 people at one place at any given time. But, now in light of the new developments, the Punjab Government has now imposed full curfew and had also warned of tougher restrictions to contain the spread of deadly COVID-19.
