Here is a chance for travellers to be royal guests in Scotland, as Prince Charles launches a bed and breakfast. The bed and breakfast has opened up in a Scottish castle, and has now officially opened for business for the general public.
The property went through some renovations for the project, and is now ready to woo guests. Built by the 4th Earl of Caithness, the castle was purchased by Prince Charles’ grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1952.
According to the lodge authorities, the design for this bed and breakfast is a classic and timeless style, and all the fittings and fabrics are traditional, with a distinct Scottish flavour. You can expect floral fabrics, and beautiful artworks in the rooms that are airy and very bright. The Granary Lodge is open to the public from May through September. Rooms here at this heritage lodge starts around $187.
