The largest modern shipping company is by the name of Primus Linie. Dating back to 1880, it arranges sightseeing tours of Frankfurt. You can also avail day excursions and even tours on Rhine and Main. The sightseeing tours often have meals. If you are going for a longer day-trip, you can go on other destinations such as Main River and Rhine.
During the hour-long sightseeing tours, you can see Frankfurt’s skyline, listen to city’s audio commentary, and see outdoor spaces such as Europaturm, the city’s tallest building.
Once aboard any of the luxury boats, you can choose to stroll on the open-air deck or sit and relax in the indoor area.
Sightseeing tours can start around $11 while day trips around Rhine can cost around $91.
