The Naldeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located near the Alwar-Jaipur highway, close to Sariska. This temple is accessible by foot once you reach the stretch between Alwar and Thanagazi village (near Sariska Tiger Reserve). It is surrounded by dense greenery and ponds and has fantastic views of the panoramic landscapes. The Naldeshwar Temple is at a distance of approx. 18 km from Sariska.
The climb to Naldeshwar Temple is approx. 5 km, and begins from the small hamlet of Madhopur. There are two paths to the temple, one is a trek and the other is by stairs. Remember to carry a water bottle with you. It is a sheer delight to come upon the sight of the Shiva temple built on top of the hill after the trek. The rocky mountains here also have a small rivulet flowing between them, accompanying the trekkers.
