North Bengal Tourism is taking new steps to attract tourists to the state with beautiful cottages for accommodation. According to the latest reports, the gorgeous North Bengal region of West Bengal is soon going to have eco-friendly cottages in its tourist hotspots. The concept has been developed to accommodate a large number of tourists that come here in the North Bengal region.
The Bhorer Alo project is a dream project of West Bengal Chief Minister, and it will be spread across 210 acres of land. Tiger Hill in Darjeeling will have cottages built out of woods, and they would have double occupancy. The cottages in Tiger Hill would also have all modern amenities for the discerning traveller.
Tonglu is set to get two dormitories, for men and women. They would comprise of ten beds each.
Tiger Hill is located in Darjeeling, while the Bhorer Alo project is located in Gajoldoba, Jalpaiguri. The former is known as a famed sunrise point in Darjeeling. Tonglu, on the other hand, is located on the trekking route of Sandakphu and is visited by numerous trekking enthusiasts.
