Non-stop flights will soon be available on Delhi-Chengdu route, details here

Those planning a China trip, there’s good news for them. Very soon IndiGo would start operating regular flights on Delhi-Chengdu route. With this the airline would also make its entry into the Chinese market.
Starting September 15, there will be a daily flight operating on India-Chengdu route. William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said,"This is truly a milestone moment for all of us at IndiGo. India is witnessing a much higher growth rate with respect to aviation and currently, the India-China route is underserved by Indian carriers."

He also mentioned that China is a market with immense potential and holds prominent trade, cultural, and tourism values, and with this, they hope to further strengthen this relation. As of now, besides China, the airline is also operating its flights on five other global routes in Asia.
Before this, it was Air India, the only Indian carrier, that was operating regular flights between India and China. For a very brief time, Jet Airways operated flights that connected India and China. While there are several Chinese airlines operating in India, there aren’t many Indian airlines on the same route.

This will be the first non-stop service between Chengdu and India, and the tickets for sale would be made available as soon as the airline secures "the requisite regulatory approvals".
