Since this year’s New Year celebrations in Sydney are dedicated towards the legalisation of same-sex marriage, which won with 61 percent votes by Australians, the city’s Lord Mayor Clover Moore expressed his thoughts by saying, “This is a fabulous way to see out 2017 – the year that four out of five Sydneysiders said a resounding ‘Yes’ to marriage equality.”
