New Delhi features at 22nd position in the list of ‘top destination for 2018’

New Delhi has blocked its position at eighth position in the list of ‘top destinations in Asia,’ and 22nd position in the list of ‘top destinations in the world’ for 2018. This has been revealed by a survey carried out by a leading travel website.
The capital city famous for its mouth-watering food, magnificent colonial-era structures, appealing Mughal minarets and also flourishing culture made it to the list of “Top 25 Travellers’ Choice of Destinations,” and secured 22nd position.

Paris has been crowned the first position, whereas London has been rated as the second best destination for 2018. In the said list, Rome found itself in the third position and Bali saw itself in the fourth. The twist in the tale is, New York that has been a favourite among travellers worldwide, slipped from the fifth in 2107 to tenth position.

All these destinations made it to the list on the basis of analysis done on reviews and ratings provided by travellers on various parameters for the abovementioned places.

Other global destinations that squeezed into the list of top destination for 2018 and were found to be popular among the travellers were Crete, Barcelona, Prague, Marrakesh, and Istanbul, which secured fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth position respectively.

In the list of top destination in Asia, three other Indian cities have been featured. New Delhi secured eighth position, whereas Goa was at ninth, and Jaipur at sixteenth position.

While Goa is famous for its beautiful beaches and happening nightlife, ‘Pink City’ Jaipur has been enthralling travellers with its cuisine, culture, and mesmerizing architecture.
