As per the latest news reports, the walk-through park will include miniscule models, which will be set up at a prime location on Mysuru-Bengaluru national highway. The said highway has been chosen as it is closer to the city, and will allow tourists to identify them quickly. Tourists can also visit the said park, and get a clue of what to include in their travel itinerary.
The park will likely have hand-crafted models of tourist destinations, such as Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo,, and much more. Deputy Director from Mysore Tourism Department said that this miniature park will serve both as an information centre and also a tourist attraction. One of the motives for setting up such a park is to imbibe innovativeness in the tourism sector, and also encourage tourists to extend their stay here.
