It is time to step out of the romantic Sapa town and take a motor bike ride to Muong Hoa Valley. It is only a half hour ride, but you can enjoy the beautiful rice terraces on the slope of the mountains during the ride. Afternoon sun falls over the mist that blankets the rice terraces from time to time. Absorb the beauty of the landscape on your way to the Muong Hoa valley. While riding through the rural areas of the local village, you will pass the children’s school, and the shops and houses of the village community. Your guide will take you to the homestay where the house lady will show you the arrangements for the guests. Take a seat on the porch with a cup of green tea that the house lady prepares for you. Meet tourists who arrive here to stay from all over the world. This is end of the day and they are coming back to homestay after their tour. You may want to join them for the supper to taste the home cook food in Vietnamese style. That only if you are not in a rush and it is not getting dark. Sunny weather can turn here quickly to rain, or the fog may roll in to blanket the entire valley in a short notice. Make a small donation to the house lady as a gesture of goodwill and take the motor cycle ride back to the town before it gets too dark on the mountain road. The guide will drop you to your hotel after the eventful day in Sapa. You will feel yourself content at the end of a beautiful day very well spent.
