Go to Kerala for a great time, and what better place than Munnar! The hill station of Munnar is just a little over 4 hours from Madurai, and is one of the best places to spend some quality time in. The hill station of Munnar as one of the largest tea-growing region is beautifully decorated by tea plantations. It is serene, pristine, and languid by all means, and as opposed to your average north-Indian hill stations, this is a clean hill station. Located in Idukki district, Munnar can present travellers with some amazing attractions. Head to the Tea Museum where you can get an in-depth look at the workings of a tea factory and learn a lot about tea in general. Look out for the Saint Anthony statue in Munnar town, which is a landmark here. Also visit the local bazaar for some fascinating items on sale, you can find some exquisite alcohol free perfumes that are worth your money.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
