You've had a nice picnic day, visited Lake Maligne, did the Columbia Icefields, hiked the Edith Cavell, spent plenty of time in town, now what? That’s when Lake Patricia comes to your surprise rescue. Set not more than 5 minutes away from town, this little gem is the ideal picnic spot. Stunning ink-blue hue of the lake waters, dense forests surrounding it, clouds dropping on the Mountains in the background, the scene is pretty enticing, isn’t it? Lake Patricia has a definite mysterious vibe to it & the fine mist oozing out of it in the evenings, only adds to its enigmatic appeal. A day by the lake offers swimming, picnic lunches by the lakeshore, canoeing & fishing. But to me the lake dons its best charm in the evening. Perfect solitude, perfect scenery, go there, just sit on the lake bench and steal the most of it!Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
