Maharashtra undoubtedly has some very fine destinations that include wonderful resorts maintained and run by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC). Now, in order to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to these resorts, MTDC is planning to upgrade the properties. It also plans to add four new resorts in different parts of the state by December 2020.
The plan is to develop more resorts in places such as Chandpur, Navegaon Bandh, Tillari, and Gangapur Dam.
Maharashtra is a fine destination that offers the best of Western Ghats, and the state is also known for some amazing hiking routes and adventures such as jungle safari, water sports, and exploring caves among other things. Of course, most people head to Mumbai to experience the big city delights, but Maharashtra has hundreds of amazing offerings.
Many of the obscure places in Maharashtra have resorts run by MTDC, and these are just perfect for holidaymakers. Now, with new developments, these resorts are going to be even more alluring and attractive to both domestic as well as foreign travellers.
