The picture-perfect Lisbon makes for a worthwhile weekend getaway—all it takes is a plane fare of less than 50 Euros for a single trip and six hours to reach this city of cobbled streets. Being less touristy makes Lisbon a great place to find accommodation in hotels and hostels for as little as 25–40 Euros per head. This tiny city can be explored by walking through the quaint neighbourhoods, and if you have time at hand, the nearby towns of Sintra and Belem are good to be explored without shelling too many Euros. Like the travel and accommodation fare, the food in Lisbon is also pretty cheap and delish. There are also plenty of clubs and bars where you can grab a pint, plus, pleasant outdoor spots that are good options for an afternoon stroll.
