Lambasingi is all set to inaugurate cottages for tourists

The tourism department is all set to inaugurate the newly built cottages in Lambasingi, and end the long ordeal of tourists wanting to spend a day or two at the said location. Owing to the lack of accommodation and basic amenities, Lambasingi, the picturesque location in Andhra Pradesh, had only been welcoming tourists to enjoy the location as a daytrip.
So to promote tourism and end this problem, the authorities proposed to built accommodation facilities and few other amenities around two years ago. This is how the development works started last year after the officials handed over around 18 acres of land to the tourism department.

Lambasingi’s claim-to-fame was when in December 2012, it touched zero degree temperature. However, till date, it has not managed to become a hit in the tourism circuit due to the lack of drinking water, toilets, and no options for staying. And because this place lacks basic amenities, tourists have been left with no option, but to restrict their trip to just a few hours.
As per the tourism officials, the project that will soon be opened for tourists includes permanent blocks and temporary cottages. Almost 90 percent of the work has been completed, and the rooms will likely be thrown open to tourists from November 15.
As per the latest news reports, five permanent blocks and four temporary cottages will likely open from mid-November, whereas other permanent blocks will take some time to be ready to serve the tourists.
