With the controversies surrounding Padmavati movie, we have had numerous debates and protests. Now the BJP government in Rajasthan is planning to install a 9 ft tall statue of Rani Padmavati, in Udaipur.

The statue is currently being designed in Jaipur, and is expected to be ready in about six months’ time. The statue will depict Rani Padmavati walking to self-immolation. So if you are really interested in the historical character then you have a chance to travel to Udaipur six months from now, and seeing the statue.
Vasundhara Raje government had in fact ordered for the construction of famous Rajput personalities in 2016, and the list included, Panna Tai, Rana Kumbha, Bappa Rawalji, Kesari Singh and Vijay Singh Pathik.
