To serve more and more pilgrims intent on experiencing the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the IRCTC will run a Kumbh Special with Puri-Gangasagar Darshan train.

To serve more and more pilgrims intent on experiencing the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the IRCTC will run a Kumbh Special with Puri-Gangasagar Darshan train. The entire train journey will cover destinations including Jagannath Puri in Odisha, Gangasagar in West Bengal, Varanasi and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.
All the passengers travelling in this train will be accommodated in SL class/3AC class. The package also includes breakfast, lunch and dinner to be served at designated hours. The passengers will be accommodated at suitable hotels for the entire trip.

The Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj will be held till the day of Mahashivratri on March 4, 2019. It will also be the day of the final Kumbh Mela snan (holy bath).
