Taj Mahal entry fee has now been revised as per your tour timing. According to reports, those who would like to spend more than three hours at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, will have to pay an additional fee. The three-hour time limit for Taj Mahal has already been implemented at the site’s location in Agra.
;
Last December the Taj Mahal increased entry fee with an additional INR 200. This has made visiting fee for Indians INR 250, and visiting fee for foreigners to INR 1300, if they want to visit the main mausoleum. You can also buy a ticket for INR 50, but you will be unable to visit the main mausoleum.
The new rule is going to irk die-hard fans of the Taj Mahal, as previously, visitors could stay at the monument from morning till evening. That means visitors could stay from sunrise to sunset.
The Taj Mahal, along with Agra Fort are two of the most important attractions of Agra, and perhaps the whole of India. The Taj Mahal alone attracts 7 to 8 million tourists every year.
