Cannes Film Festival is all the rage among cinema lovers each year; this year, Delhi Tourism is participating in the festival in order to promote the city as a film shooting destination. Saying that the city has a lot of stories to offer, Delhi’s Department of Tourism is trying to woo filmmakers to explore the city, and tell its stories on screen.
According to Sudhir Sobti, Chief Manager, Public Relations, DTTDC, the Cannes Film Festival attracts the best storytellers in the world, and Delhi, of course, has numerous stories worth telling. So, the department of tourism is planning to enable filmmakers to set Delhi as their stage for such stories.
According to reports, the Delhi government is taking major strides to promote Delhi NCR as a filmmaking city and facilitating shoots in the last few years.
