The weather conditions in Himachal Pradesh remained cold and dry on Monday, with popular tourist spots Manali and Kufri freezing at sub-zero temperatures. While Kalpa was shivering at temperature as low as minus 5.6 degrees Celsius, Manali registered minus 3.4 and Kufri stood at minus 2 degree Celsius. An official from the meteorological department informed that the minimum temperature in Dalhousie was 0.9, and Shimla witnessed 1.7 degree Celsius respectively.
Cold conditions continued in Himachal Pradesh with the weathermen issuing a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and snowfall in the state for Tuesday. Although yellow is the least dangerous of all the weather warnings, the said warning, however, indicates the probability of severe weather.
Further, Delhi saw a rise in the minimum temperature that was around two notches from that on Saturday, thereby settling at 6.9 degrees Celsius, while the capital recorded a maximum of 22.7 degrees Celsius.
