Official adjudicator of Guinness World Records announced that the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation created a world record by cooking 1995 kg khichdi in a single utensil.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the gathering during the occasion of district-level Makar Sankranti Mela at Tattapani, also added that e-toilet facility and modern cafeteria would be built in this region and that INR 3.50 crore will be infused in this region to develop it as a chief centre for water sports.
