Weather in Himachal Pradesh continues to stay freezing, with more unprecedented snowfall and cold winds sweeping over the stay for the weekend. While a number of places including Chamba, Dalhousie, Manali, Shimla, Kufri and Solang saw fresh snow, Keylong in the upper reaches touched a very numbing -17. Reports further state that the ongoing cold wave is likely to continue for the coming days as well. Read less
Further predictions by the Met office hint at the weather staying quite cold for the coming days; the Western disturbance that is causing the cold wave would be more active towards the end of January. Apart from Himachal, a number of regions in Uttarakhand, especially Uttarkashi, are also reeling under severe cold and heavy snowfall.
