Switzerland has shown its full support for India in the current challenging times when both Europe and India is reeling under the impact of novel Coronavirus. The solidarity was shown by projecting the national tricolour flag on the illustrious Matterhorn Mountain in the Swiss Alps. Read less
The tourism organisation Zermatt Matterhorn shared its concern for India’s battle against COVID-19 by writing an empathetic message.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted the picture of Indian tricolour with an encouraging caption.

Meanwhile, as per the statistics collected by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has lost 519 lives by April 19 evening, and more than 16000 cases of infection have been reported in the country. On the other hand, about 35000 persons have died in the US alone. In India, the lockdown has been extended till May 3 as a measure to prevent more infections and flatten the growth curve of COVID-19 infections.
