Entry to more than 1,500 museums across the US will be free this Saturday

If you ever planned on a museum trip in the US, then this Saturday would be the best time to do so. Reason being, the entry to more than 1,500 museums across the United States of America would be free, irrespective of the state you live in!
And if you happen to live in Florida or planning to visit this Saturday, then you might have your weekend full as Florida alone boasts of more than a hundred museums. Almost all the museums in the US are participating in the event and have made entry free for visitors.

Be it a small museums or art museum or historic homes, all institutions are participating and have made entry free . The Museum Day will be celebrating its 14th annual edition having the theme of ‘Women Making History’.
It’s quite simple to take part in the event. All those interested in the event can visit the Museum Day’s official website, and choose a destination, enter your Email address and that’s all. You’re done. You’ll receive your downloadable ticket (2 tickets) in next few minutes from the museum’s official.

You really need to choose carefully as there won’t be any ‘take backs’ and secondly for certain museums, you’ll have to carry printouts of the tickets with the note saying, *Printed ticket required.

There are 378 art museums, including the renowned Museum of Arts and Design in New York City, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston participating in the event.
