About Punta Ventana
Punta Ventana or Window Point, before being hit by the quake was a beachside rock formation in the town of Guayanilla. The beautiful structure was aptly named as it resembled a stone window from where one could enjoy some breathtaking views of the ocean in the backdrop.
According to a local woman, she was shocked and sad to see the famous arch gone. She further said that Punta Venta was one of the biggest tourism draws of Guayanilla.
On Instagram, there are more than 16000 results for the hashtag #Guayanilla, where one can only see pictures of Punta Ventana.
Guayanilla is mourning over the loss of its gorgeous iconic natural wonder. The good news here is there were no reports of human casualties yet.
