Being the national capital, Delhi takes special precautions as people from all over visit the city to be a part of the glorious R-Day celebrations. This year too, special measures have been taken considering the celebrations.
According to the NOTAM issued, no ālanding and take offā would be allowed at the Delhi International Airport from 10:35 AM to 12:15 PM on January 18, 20-24 and 26 because of the Republic Day Celebrations.
So those planning their trips around these dates must be prepared for alternatives given the closure of airspace at Delhi airport on all these seven days. Operations of all airlines will be hugely impacted on all the above mentioned dates in January.
