Delhi's new tourist attraction – Observation Deck – to launch soon

Come February 2019, and the travellers in Delhi will get a magnanimous platform to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city. Reportedly, Delhi is set to get an observation deck offering 360-degree views of the metropolis from a height of 154 m on top of the recently launched Signature Bridge.
The Signature Bridge was opened for public by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in November 2018. As of now, the observation deck is under construction and the completion won’t happen until February 2019. The project is under the direction of the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC).


The observation deck offers complete access to visitors willing to behold the panoramic views of the national capital. The deck will be fully surrounded by glass with a filtered design of peacock feathers and small openings of transparent glass that will serve as a point for the visitors to click pictures, and watch the urban landscape and the green cover of the city like never before. The quality of the glass been used in the deck is so strong that it can bear wind speed up to 86 miles per hour.
It will also not get damaged or break due to the lamination. News has it that the floor of the observation deck is being made of special lightweight and sturdy steel. About 50 persons can gather at the observation deck at a time. Reportedly, high speed elevators will be installed to help about six persons reach the deck.

So, the next obvious question is, when is the observation deck opening for public visitors? Well, we gather that it will be inaugurated in February 2019. Needless to say, soon after its launch, the observation deck will become a popular places to visit in Delhi.
