Australia is now home to a new national park in Western Australia, the Houtman Abrolhos Islands National Park, and it is set to become a stunning new attraction. The island was discovered 400 years ago by Frederik de Houtman (a Dutch explorer). It is located about 418 km away from Perth, and is an amazing new destination for a memorable and adventurous trip.
The location, i.e., Houtman Abrolhos Island is a group of 122 islands, along with coral reefs. It is one of the most spectacular places in the country, and with the national park, it is set to become a huge hit among sustainable tourists. The place now has boardwalks and an airstrip for the convenience of tourists.
There is an abundance of wildlife in the new national park, along with scenic landscapes that will captivate you. The Houtman Abrolhos Island has been made under the McGowan Government’s Plan for Our Parks initiative. Reports suggest that over the next five years, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is looking to create five million hectares.
As of now, there are numerous activities that you can take part in during your visit to the national park.
