While Delhi and NCR have been battling with soaring temperatures for the past few days, the weather seemed to change its mood on Sunday. This part of the country finally received light rain in some areas on Sunday. This resulted in bringing down the temperature by some notches in Delhi-NCR. Read less
Many areas also experienced dusty storms yesterday, and as per the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a dust storm in some areas on Monday. It is very likely that many areas might experience light to heavy rainfall as well.
While Gurugram saw heavy rainfall in many areas on Monday morning, there is a possibility that Delhi weather might also change its course by the evening.
Pleasant weather motivated people to get out of their homes and throng tourist hotspots such as the India Gate, Red Fort, and other such places. The Delhi Zoo also recorded a huge footfall of tourists on Sunday, so much so that two extra gates had to be arranged at the main gate.
