Although these two ‘claim to fame’ are impressive, there is a lot more to discover in this great city. Families will love exploring the Edmonton Valley Zoo where kids can get up close to animals such as tigers, seals and elephants. History buffs will want to head to Fort Edmonton Park where they can learn about fur trading and the pioneer years. Visitors of all ages will love the famous West Edmonton Mall complete with its indoor water park and amusement park, besides many shops and restaurants. They can also skate under the stars at City Hall, explore the beautiful indoor gardens, take in a live musical or play at the impressive Citadel Theatre or try their luck at horse racing at Northlands Park. The places to visit in Edmonton are endless and you will surely have a hard time deciding where to go first.
