The Regional Science Centre on the foothills of Tirupati is one of the sites developed entirely for children, especially those from smaller towns. The science centre is not as interesting as the one in Mumbai for example but it is still a good concept, and one that children seem to enjoy. The most interesting section here is the Prehistoric Life Park, depicting the evolution of life. One section is dedicated to the evolution of humans but more interesting are the sections depicting prehistoric creatures of all kinds, from mammoths to dinosaurs and many more. The life sized models manage to grab the attention of all, but mostly kids, and this is the main attraction here.
