The quaint seaside town of Carmel is the perfect weekend for the one who loves everything artsy. Located at a distance of 125 miles from the city of San Francisco, this town is packed with art, wine and history. Those who travel to the place for weekend getaways usually like to explore the place by going on hikes and nature walks. A hike through the Point Lobos State Reserve takes a traveller through beautiful trails that wind along the Pacific coast. Later in the day, a meal at the Earthbound Farm can be more rewarding than anything than anything for a nature loving trekker, thanks to the eatery’s menu that offers a wide range of organic salads and sandwiches. On a whole, a trip to this town feels downright European.
