The sprawling Gurugram is definitely a great place for work and play, but did you know that there are sinister things at play underneath all its glamour? Reportedly, there have been tales of hauntings in Gurugram for a long time, and don’t we always wonder about where these places are? Dark tourism has been a thing for quite some time now, and while it does seem a bit dangerous, there are some people who definitely don’t mind taking the plunge. Here is a list of haunted places in Gurugram that you could avoid!
Aravalli Biodiversity Park

Farrukh Nagar Fort
Located close to the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, the Farrukh Nagar Fort is believed to be a place where a spirit resides. The spirit has supposedly been here since the time of its construction, which means hundreds of years. It is also said that the spirit is guarding the royal treasure of the fort, and if you are a treasure hunter, you better not try this one. Stories suggest that any treasure hunter, who has tried to break into the treasure chamber of the fort has ended up blind.
Abandoned apartment in Sector 56
An abandoned apartment in Gurugram’s Sector 56 is not where you would want to stay. There are numerous horror stories regarding this abandoned apartment, and according to a former resident, it is definitely haunted. Knocks on the door, the sudden flicker of lights and more has been reported. The house has remained vacant since its previous residents left.
BPO office building
The spirit of a woman, Rose, is believed to be in a known office building, wandering its corridors. According to the former employees, Rose was a young and energetic woman, who was employed here and went missing. Upon enquiry from the HR department, it was revealed that the Rose they knew died eight years ago. It was later learnt that the office building was built on a former graveyard.
