Karnataka unlock phase saw its bars and restaurants opening back up after almost five months of remaining shut. You can now go out and dine-in at restaurants, but restaurants and bars are only going to operate at a 50 per cent capacity. The city of Bengaluru is known for its eclectic bar culture and, with this new ruling, the city can try to get back to its usual self. However, you ought to be careful when venturing out, as the unlock does not mean that COVID-19 is over.
Karnataka is going to reopen the Metro on September 7, and is also looking to reopen ITI, and other registered skill development training centers, political rallies, open-air theatres, religious programmes, and social gathering on September 21.
One great way to ensure safety is to make a reservation before heading out. Waiting for a table at the bar or any other crowded area is always risky, so even if you are heading out for a drink in the evening, try to book a table. This will avoid commotion, and will also allow the bars and restaurants to make necessary arrangements for you.
