It is the tallest, largest, and the most ornate temple among the surviving temples at Khajuraho. This palace was built in the 19th century in Gwalior. It showcases European architecture in detail, and was built by Sir Michael Filose. The palace is a combination of architectural styles. Situated between two artificial lakes, this architectural wonder got this name as it appears as a ship floating in water. It served the purpose of harem for the sultan, and was built by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-Khalji. Also, Mandu is an ancient city that is located in the Malwa region of western Madhya Pradesh, and deserves all the tourist attention for its numerous architectural wonders.
