Angel Falls is the world's tallest waterfall, nearly 1000 metres (979 metres) high with a largest single drop of 810 metres.
Angel Falls is the world's tallest waterfall, nearly 1000 metres (979 metres) high with a largest single drop of 810 metres. Named after the pilot who discovered them in 1937—Jimmy Angel —though Venezuelan explorer Ernesto de Santa Cruz got here in 1910 so Angel Falls has really been discovered at least twice.
