Alsisar a small town located in Jhunjhunu flanked by arid dessert. This town was given to Thakur Samarth Singh by his father, Thakur Pahad Singh of Heerwa. In 1783 AD Thakur Samarth Singh made the town his capital. The town is famous for the Alsisar Mahal due to the sheer Rajput architectural excellence it has. The palace has fresco carvings and depiction of historical events on its walls, all made by Shekhawat Thikanedars. Alsisar Mahal has now been turned into a hotel. It is beautiful and perfectly maintained by the staff. There is a huge swimming pool and comfortable sun loungers for the guests. The staff ensures all the guests are well taken care of.
