A quick walk across the Millenium bridge from St. paul’s, the globe theatre was re-built on the same site as the original and opened in 1997. A reconstruction of the original open-air theatres from the 60s, it hosts Shakespearean plays and the season normally runs from May to October and sometimes over the Christmas period.
