Heritage Walk

With just a day to take it all in, this is probably the best introduction to the city’s heritage. Decide between two option: The Municipal Corporation of Ahmedabad conducts a morning walk which begins at eight with a slide show at the Swaminarayan Mandir in Kalupur, and takes you through several important temples, havelis and heritage sites before ending at Jama Masjid in the city centre. Alternatively, the House of MG offers an 80-minute-long guided walk, which you can embark on with a recorded audio guide.
