Located between Komic and Langza, Hikkim is a small village that houses the world's highest post office. The post office appears very different from the ones seen in the cities, and is hidden somewhere amidst stone and mud houses painted in white. Buddhist prayer flags flutter outside these houses, symbolising the influence of the religion in the region. Like other villages in the valley, Hikkim too has a monastery at the far end of the village, and is also rich in fossils. Besides, the village has been the world's highest polling station and also has its name registered in the Limca Book of Records.
