A lot of us tend to suggest speciality coffee shops or cafes that are full of character. Whereas the truth of the matter is that at most times of the day, one just needs quick and good takeaway coffee. That’s where Café Dos X 3 from Cusco comes in. This unpretentious café, in a little by lane, is centrally-located. It might be really close to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas but it’s easy to miss this tiny establishment unless you look closely. Despite its unimpressive size, food and drinks at Café Dos X 3 are commendable. In fact locals love this hole-in-the-wall eatery and you’ll find very few tourists here. Their coffees are great and food is piping hot and fresh. Guests do need to know Spanish, as there are no menus in English. Try their maracuja cheesecake—it was recommended to us by a local dining at Café Dos X 3 and we just couldn’t get enough of it.
