Great restaurant and pizzeria in Cagliari, a bit off the city centre and incredibly popular among locals – it is better to make reservations during the weekend. The menu offers pasta, meat, fish, salads, and pizzas. The pizzas are to die for, with incredibly good and unique combinations of ingredients. Must tries are the radicchio, pears and stracchino cheese pizza, or the pizza with battered and baked eggplants, zucchini and potatoes. Il Pepe Rosa also serves freshly cut and fried potato chips. Desserts are excellent too, and include the typical tiramisu, and the delicious millefoglie – a combination of light, thin and crispy dough layered with Chantilly custard, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. With great service, you are assured a pleasant experience. Prices are higher than those of an average pizzeria, but this isn’t an average pizzeria.
