Sticking out like a sore thumb between the typically French apartments that border it, the Palais des Congrès Acropolis (simply known as the Acropolis) has been dividing opinions since 1984. But whether you think the stylised structure is a modernist masterpiece or a monumental eyesore, it's what's inside that counts.

In terms of music concerts, the old Acropolis lags behind the competition with slightly out-of-the-way Théâtre Lino Ventura and Palais Nikaïa both attracting most big-name artists. Nevertheless, the venue still hosts its fair share of predominately-French spectacles, from theatre productions to ballet performances.
