With programs covering modern jazz, jam sessions, DJs and a variety of workshops, this club has a lot going for it. Established by Mathias Rüegg (a Swiss musician) in 1993, Porgy & Bess caters to a young audience, who come to listen to some of the hottest jazz tunes Vienna has to offer.
