A true Edinburgh institution, this enormous department store has been a fixture on Princes Street since 1839. Generations of proud locals have come shopping here for everything from clothes to kitchenware, furniture to perfumes. Since 2005 it’s been part of the larger House of Fraser chain, so it now offers a wider range of products and services than ever before.
Jenners also offers a range of traditional souvenirs for visitors to the city, while the Grade I listed building’s magnificent old interiors make it a worthwhile trip even for non-shoppers.
