Every team looks for an impact player. It’s not easy to find them. They are a rare talent; they possess different qualities which set them apart from the rest. Siddhesh Wath belongs to that rare category. He has the ability to change the course of the match in just one session. The 19-year-old has done it quite frequently for various Vidarbha teams. Now, he has made an impact in his second First Class match.

Siddhesh Wath's blazing form this is likely to earn him a place in the Vidarbha eleven when they take on Kerala in their next Ranji Trophy match at home from February 4.

Experienced batter Faiz Fazal will lead a strong 18-member Vidarbha squad for the Ranji Trophy beginning January 13.
