Swedish veteran Sarah Sjostrom won her second gold at the World Championships in just over 24 hours as she won the 50m freestyle in Budapest on Saturday. It was the 28-year-old's 20th medal at the Championships. She won her first in 2009.

Emma McKeon set a new Australian record of 11 Commonwealth gold medals by storming to victory in the women's 50m freestyle in Birmingham on Sunday. She came to Birmingham with eight golds in two previous editions of the Games -- two behind fellow Australian swimmers Ian Thorpe, Susie O'Neill and Leisel Jones.
