A 72-year-old man had a procedure to destroy a tumor on his left kidney. The procedure was done with the latest technique, which is called microwave mw ablation. The man was discharged two days later. Nephrologists across hospitals said this could be the first time in the eastern region that this technique was used to destroy a renal tumor.
